| Re-priming your KJ60 F.A.R Tool |
Step 1:
· Connect the tool to an air source and check your tool is fully
functional and doesn’t need servicing
· Does the stroke work correctly?
· Does the tool spin on / off?
Step 2:
· Before starting to re-prime your KJ60, remove the tool from the air
supply (for health and safety reasons - to avoid oil contacting the
operator’s skin/eyes)
Step 3:
· Unscrew the bleed screw anti clockwise using the 5mm Allen Key
provided in the KJ60 carry case
Step 4:
· Wipe the bleed screw using a rag
· Check for any damage to the bleed screw as this could cause air
to enter the oil, along with loss of oil through oil leaks
· Check the washer is also undamaged as this could cause air leaks
in your tool
Step 5:
· Insert the re-priming pump into the bleed screw hole and screw it
in using a clockwise motion
Step 6:
· Re-connect the air source. Ensure this is done after Step 5 to avoid
oil ‘’squirting’’ at the operators
Step 7:
· Press the trigger while rotating the tool to allow the oil to travel
around the tool
Step 8:
· Once no air bubbles are seen in the re-priming pump your tool is
fully re-primed! You can check this by pressing and holding the trigger
Step 9:
· Disconnect the tool from the air.
Step 10:
· Unscrew the re-priming pump using an anticlockwise motion
Step 11
· Wipe any excess oil from the tool.
Step 12
· Using your 5mm Allen key, screw the bleed screw and washer
back into the tool using a clockwise motion
Step 13
· Re-connect your air and you’re ready to use your tool!
(Final step!)
· Set the tool to maximum stroke, stork tool and measure the stroke.
· This should be 7mm
